From son Peter –
At Beach 99 street, there is a path to the beach. At the end of the path, turn left.
There is a ‘wire and sticks’ fence at the top edge of the beach. About 20 feet down the fence, one stick is broken off. Eve’s ashes are buried there.
Three pictures (below) that guide to the spot:
- Beach-99-street. Shows the location on the boardwalk
- Broken-stick. Shows the broken stick in the fence.
- The-site. The sand at the exact spot.
The ashes were carefully spooned into a hole dug in the sand, using a big serving spoon from the kitchen at 2931. A small amount was placed in a shell and dropped in the water. Another small amount was raised up and caught by the wind, likeDonny.
All done with respect. Peter.
