Bob Kivelson

by

While we were celebrating last evening with the Koreans at the Free Synagogue of Flushing my dear friend and meditator Bob Kivelson passed away.  I only learned when I entered the sanctuary that he had taken suddenly ill and was in serious condition at Flushing hospital.  He and Adrienne were supposed to leave on a trip to Europe on Wednesday. Instead he was taken to the hospital and died last night.

He was such a dear friend and wonderful person.  He and Adrienne and I would go to dinner once a month or so. We had so much in common and shared so many points of view, politics and compassion for the peoples of our community and the world.  I will miss him so much.
