Diagnosing Breast Cancer Without Risk or Pain

by

Margaret Cuomo, MD in a new book,  “A World Without Cancer”  discusses the many problems with cancer screening including mammographies.  She also points out that there are many hazards to medical radiation including the risk of getting cancer. Nowhere does she make the connection between the over use of radiation in trying to diagnose a patient as having breast cancer.  The major failing here is that she does not consider, or even mention the use of thermography as a non invasive  test of the possible presence of cancer. Thermography is a test that is without any pain or lethal and cumulative radiation. It also can find the potential “hot spots” much earlier than mammograms do.

I wonder why the omission?
