Leaving Responsibility Where It Belongs

by

If somebody you know or care about is behaving irresponsibly and appears to be suffering you should not take their irrational actions into you heart and let them impact upon you.  As long as you are willing to “feel” their pain they do not have to address it for themselves.  That does not mean you should not be sympathetic. But one must make it clear that none of us can take on another persons feelings and disappointments. And trying to do this does not solve the problems for them nor does it work.  Everyone needs to take on their own issues and if they do not do this, se la vie.
