It’s All Connected

The dangerous activity of coal mining is a result of our disregard for the environment, health and well being of our people and economy.  We are greedy about consumption even though it is unhealthy for the planet and our health. It seems that since there has been a sense of improvement in the economy people are in the mood for spending.  Thus there is greater consumption and more need for energy (cheap coal).  Nevertheless the possible increase in income (?) has not resulted in better food consumption.

It’s all connected. We need to consume less, require less energy and stop dangerous mining and fracking for remnants of natural gas which undermines our water systems and causes innumerable health hazards.

It’s time to tighten our belts, get out of our cars, reduce consumption and eat less and more healthfully.
