In today’s NY Times there is a story about Jerry Brown. In his initial run for governor in California he was nicknamed Governor Moonbeam. His vision was to “protect the earth, serve the people and explore the universe.” Sadly he was ridiculed and called Governor Moonbeam instead of being celebrated for being an idealistic and nontraditional chief executive. He is considering running again. I hope California has the sense to have him as its governor once again.

If Meg Whitman (former ebay president) is his main opposition, I think JB is a shoe-in.
